How to make it done

How to Colour Your Set

This is a simple step-by-step guide on how to colour your set:
  1. Use the scheme below to properly colour your figures.
  2. Prepare the brush and paint that you found in the set. You can use any other paint if you want, but we can't guarantee the same results.
  3. Always use a dry brush for acrylic paint; no water is needed.
  4. Apply the paint in layers for a rich colour. You can use two or more layers, but make sure each subsequent layer is applied after the previous one has completely dried (approximately 10 minutes).
  5. After each layer (or before changing colors), wash your brush thoroughly to prevent unnecessary color mixing. Don't forget to dry the brush with a napkin or paper towel after washing.

Useful tips:

  • You may only colour visible parts; frames in all layers don't need to be coloured, only the top one.
  • To identify visible parts, collect all the layers together and look for their boundaries.
  • To prevent paint smudges on the edges and sides, try putting a small amount of paint in the center of the layer and then spreading it to the edges. Avoid picking up too much paint.

How to Glue Your Set

  1. Place the bottom layer face up.
  2. Place the next layer face down.
  3. Apply some glue to the reverse side of the second layer.
  4. Match both layers and press for a while.
  5. Repeat stages 1-4 with all the other layers.

Useful tips:

  • Apply glue as small dots (1-2 mm) at a distance of 1-1.5 cm to prevent the glue from spreading on the sides.
  • If the layer is not flat (plywood is not always flat, unfortunately), use some weight after matching the layers for 5-7 minutes. This will be enough to fix it in the proper position.

How to Hang Your Artwork on the Wall

If you'd like to hang your artwork on the wall, follow these steps using the included hangers:
  1. The hanger comes in two pieces.
  2. Assemble them by gluing the two pieces together.
  3. Glue two hangers to the back of your artwork.
  4. Drive two screws into the wall, then hang your artwork on them.

How to Attach LEDs

  1. Attach the LED string to the fully painted figure, before gluing layers together.
  2. Wrap the string around the attached to the blank pins (similar to the photo below).
  3. If necessary, secure the string using the included adhesive.
  4. For better concealment, you can paint the string to match the layer where the LEDs are located.
  5. If there are multiple layers with LEDs in the blank, pass the string through a hole in the next layer or route it as shown in the photo.
  6. Attach the LEDs to the second layer, roughly as shown in the photo.
  7. To secure the battery block, peel off the protective film from the adhesive layer and attach it to the back of the figure
