Return & Refund Eligibility
Due to the handmade nature of our products, we only accept returns and refunds for defective or damaged items.
Eligible for Return & Refund:
- Items that arrive damaged or defective
- Orders with incorrect or missing items (mistakes on our part)
Not Eligible for Return & Refund:
- Change of mind or personal preference
- Used, opened, or altered products
- Custom or personalized items
- Sale or clearance items
2. Return Timeframe & Conditions
- You must request a return within 30 days of receiving your order.
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Returns must include proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt).
- If the item was damaged during shipping, photographic evidence is required.
3. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
1. Contact Us
- Email us at info@zacksworkshop.ca with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the product (if damaged or defective)
2. Wait for Approval
- We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
- If approved, we will provide return instructions.
3. Ship the Item Back (if required)
- In some cases, we may require the item to be returned before issuing a refund or replacement.
- We will provide a return shipping address.
4. Receive Your Refund or Replacement
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item (if required), we will process your refund or send a replacement within 5 business days.
4. Refund Process
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- It may take 3-7 business days for refunds to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- If you do not receive your refund within this timeframe, please contact your payment provider first before reaching out to us.
5. Shipping Costs & Fees
If the return is due to our error (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect item):
- We will cover return shipping costs.
If the return is approved but not due to our error:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Non-Refundable Fees:
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where we made an error with your order.
6. Exchanges & Replacements
If your product arrives damaged or defective, you may request a replacement instead of a refund. We will send a new item at no additional cost.
Exchanges are only offered for defective or incorrect items. We do not offer exchanges for different designs or preferences.
7. Lost or Delayed Shipments
- If your order is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, please check with your local postal service first.
- If your order is lost in transit, contact us at zacksworkshop.ca@gmail.com, and we will assist in locating the package.
- We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by postal carriers.
